Are you ready for summer?

As I was working on sessions and thinking about other ones that I have planned out, I realized that 4 out of the last 6 sessions I had was raining or had to be rescheduled for raining. UGH I hate Florida. :-) 
I Live in North Florida and I think on Average it rains about 3 times a week. AND Its now Hurricane season. I'm crossing my fingers for "slow" season this year and that everyone's sessions are just as fabulous so we hope. I don't know how people can live in the Pacific north west (Seattle, Portland)
Of course all of this rainy weather only makes me more and more ready for my trip across the country, but then again when I'm in Cali/Vegas. I will be trading rain for sand. :-) everywhere has something to deal with I guess. :-)

So tell me, which would you prefer? Rain or Sand?

personal- These are a few of my favorite things

I have missed all you blog readers. I have been BUSY. In a good way.

Not all of you know that I work a full time job and run my photography business, so some weeks are a little crazier then others but I would not trade it in for the world.

I finally feel alive and awake for the first time in a long time (wellll, when I am not lacking sleep :-) and knowing that I started following my dream and stop putting it off at the right time.

So here's to a great start of the year and looking forward to the next couple of months to see where they take me :-)

And as always THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for your support in my small and growing business.

Styled Portrait/wedding session - Gainesville Florida

I had the opportunity to photograph Ann a few weekends ago for part of a styled "bridal" session.
She's gorgeous and has hidden talent to be a model... no joke. she rocked it. Even in hurricane winds :-)

I've known Ann for.... a long time. Lets just say back in our wild and woolly days. I'm so glad she came and modeled for me because I had so much fun photographing her and my little styled shoot that I put together and meeting her better half Mark.

My vision was classic mixed with old. When I first laid eyes on these old Glass bottles I HAD TO HAVE THEM.. So thanks to my sister and a trip to the antique mall, my little vision came together.
