Boggs wedding

update-- PLEASE VISIT MY NEW BLOG at www.sweetamorephotography.blogspot.com

When Tracy contacted me and gave me the details of her wedding. I know it was meant to be for us to work together. Her vision was something to see and her passion was infectious.

Even in the rain her and David's wedding was filled with old fashioned charm and details to make anyone envious. It might not have gone 100% to plan but when it come to the love they have, the showers will pass and love will stay.

So glad I got to be part of their big day. You can see their engagement session here :-)

Styled Portrait/wedding session - Gainesville Florida

I had the opportunity to photograph Ann a few weekends ago for part of a styled "bridal" session.
She's gorgeous and has hidden talent to be a model... no joke. she rocked it. Even in hurricane winds :-)

I've known Ann for.... a long time. Lets just say back in our wild and woolly days. I'm so glad she came and modeled for me because I had so much fun photographing her and my little styled shoot that I put together and meeting her better half Mark.

My vision was classic mixed with old. When I first laid eyes on these old Glass bottles I HAD TO HAVE THEM.. So thanks to my sister and a trip to the antique mall, my little vision came together.

Here are a few of my favorites..

Update and sneak peek

Hello Everyone,

A blog post is long over due, and I wanted to at least put a little something on here for the time being.

I will be blogging 2 sessions over the next week or so AND A WEDDING by the end of the month.

This is my first blog in 2013. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Slowly but surely my little business is getting up and going. My website will be done soon. I have a few sessions scheduled and coming up that I cant wait for and of course I will be blogging them. AND WEDDINGS. YAY!! I love wedding. I cant even tell you how amazing it feels when I get wedding inquires. I get a smile that last all day. If I could hug the brides that email me about them I could. I would love to capture the story of every ones big day if I could. LOVE THEM.

Speaking of wedding. I had a wedding on new years day. And since every post is prettier with a photo. There is a a sneak peek from Hillary and Jakes wedding... Be jealous ladies, those are her real eye leashes.

If you know me personally, then you know some of the heartbreak that has fell upon my family and friends recently. So this new years is dedicated to Sweet Holly. She left us way to early and was full of dreams and hopes. 2013 will be a year that I do not let my dreams and hopes stand on the side lines and and not let them pass by.

Olivia and Devin - Alachua Wedding Photography

Look at these two!! LOVE them.

Devin is literately like a brother. He is one of my only cousins and the only one that grew up in the same area. We grew up running around the farm basically from the time we could run around. :-) How we didn't get in trouble or hurt ourselves I will never know.

Last weekend him and his sweet bride Olivia tied the knot. Libby is a kind soul with a sweet smile. Her carefree personality hits right in with our family. And to be honest I kind of hate her. I mean really I dream about having eyebrows that perfect and she's got them. :-)

I wasn't the photographer for their wedding, MB photography was, but man, I couldn't help myself. Photographers are always photographers. Everything was beautiful and I am so gratefully that Libby said I can take some.

I still have allot to go through and might add a few more soon. But here are some of my favorite so far.

Could you not ask for more of a gorgeous bridal party. And can I mention how fun and sweet each one of these girls are!!!

WORK IT GIRLS!!!

And look how nice the guys clean up!!

THE FIRST LOOK!!!!!! Can I take a minute to say how much I LOVE first looks. You can not get reactions like this in a church.

Details- The Ring

One of the things I LOVE about wedding photography (one of many) are the detail shots.

I can look at them all day long...and sometimes I actually do. :-)

Whether the feel is vintage or uber modern, there is just something I love.  (I'm more of a vintage girl myself)

Wedding photographers could not be the story tellers that they are with out them. One little detail captured in camera can say 1000 words that the bride was trying to express. An old bracelet passed down from a grandmother. Something borrowed from the best friend. With out all of the details, there would not be the fairytale that we are writing.

I just love them.

Here are a few ring shots that I got while testing lighting and such.  I couldn't decide which ones I wanted to post, so I'll post a few and add the rest to another post in a few days.

Hope you enjoy.
